How We Score Schools
Every school receives a weighted quality score out of 100 across 5 dimensions, calculated entirely from official UDISE+ 2024-25 government data. No surveys, no opinions, no bias.
Faculty Quality
30 pointsResearch consistently shows teacher quality is the single biggest predictor of learning outcomes. We weight this highest.

Key Scoring Principles
Graduated, Not Binary
A school with 20 classrooms scores higher than one with 3. STR of 15 scores higher than 35. Real differences matter.
Faculty Weighted Highest
Teacher quality gets 30% — aligned with Education World and C-fore frameworks that double-weight teacher competence.
Zero Paid Rankings
No school can pay for a higher score. Rankings are purely from UDISE+ government data fields.
Policy-Aligned Thresholds
STR ≤30 (RTE Act), digital classrooms (NEP 2020), accessibility (RPwD Act). No arbitrary benchmarks.
